ROOM with an ATTITUDE...

GREEN, PINK, & BLACK...THAT is what a lil' girl's CRAZY room is all about=)

I have been working to get Adlee's "BIG GIRL" room ready for her the past month. FINALLY, it is ALMOST ready for the BIG MOVE down the hall. I say ALMOST because Adlee has not slept a night in her new room. Hopefully that will come soon:) Adlee has enjoyed JUMPING on her new bed though. The other day after school...Dent, Adlee, and myself were all enjoying the little daybed as a family. You can only imagine how we all looked playing on a little bed. Adlee just LOVED having her daddy and I in bed with her and several sweet KISSES were given out. So, even though we were all cramped together...It was worth it all!!!

Here a few "NEW" little things Adlee has done lately that has melted our hearts...

*TALKING=NON-STOP. I was a little worried during Christmas break that she wasn't talking much, but oh my, not the case right now. Tonight she was noticing all the little "FISHIES" in a magazine of her daddy's.

*LAUNDRY...she loves to help me load the dryer. What a sweet little helper she is!!!

*MINNIE MOUSE has captured her attention lately. In fact, her birthday party will be full of some MINNIE MOUSE.

*GOING TO BED, by HERSELF...We will ask her if she is ready for bed and she will shake her head "NO." Then, all of sudden we will all get kisses and she is off to bed. She will go to her room, shut the door, and crawl in bed. I will go check on her a few minutes later and she will be fast asleep. Dent and I just kind of look at each other and think, "WOW" what an independent little girl we have on our hands!!!

*CEREAL with MILK. AK thinks that is the BEST little supper or lunch. In fact, she preferred cereal over grilled hamburgers tonight. CRAZY, the SIMPLEST foods are the ones they seem to love the most:)

....of course things are always changing around here, but I just wanted to share a few with you....

AWWWWWWWWWW...who wouldn't want a KISS from this sweet girl. Her Daddy was very lucky to get such SWEET KISSES. I did get a kiss or two, but her daddy took the cake on this night!!!
