Saturday was one BUSY day. The first thing on our list was the play, Cinderella. Cinderella was all the talk with the little girls. They were so excited to see her all dressed up in her fancy dress. AND of course...the shoe, the pretty glass slipper, was a high point of the play. The girls did very well through the 2+ hour presentation. Adlee and Evynn got a little restless during some parts, but Emmerson was watching very closely to all the actors. What a great way to begin our weekend together:)
Emmerson, Evynn, and Adlee anxiously awaiting the performance:)
After the play, it was time for a little break. SO, we went to the hotel and were able to relax for a few minutes before going to our next event!!!
As the clouds were getting darker and darker and tiny rain drops began falling from the sky...we were beginning to think that our evening plans were not going to happen...BUT, we decided to head to WONDERLAND PARK and take our chances. WOW, it was a gamble and we WON, the weather ended up being perfect and the little girls had the time of their lives riding the rides. The sweet girls rode the carousel, boats, helicopters, and cars together. Emmerson was such a big helper this year and showed the little girls what to do on each ride. About half way through the evening, it was time for some cotton candy, popcorn, funnel-cakes, and a snow-cone. You can't go to a park without having all the special treats:) About 9:15, AK was saying, "Night, Night" and was wanting her pillow and blanket for the evening. So, we headed to the car and Adlee fell fast asleep in my arms as we waited for Emmerson and Evynn to finish their evening. What a great night we had together. It was so sweet watching all the little faces that AK was making as she rode all the different rides. What a great experience for us ALL.

Sweet Kisses for Poppy...too sweet!!!
Sunday had MORE fun events to finish up our weekend. After a delicious breakfast of donuts, burritos, yogurt, and juice we were off for a little swim. Adlee wasn't too sure what to think about the pool at first, but after a few minutes she was ready to swim with the other girls. Thank you Aunt D for letting us use the floaties during our "POOL PARTY"
After, yet another YUMMY meal, we headed to the zoo. Again...the weather was looking questionable, but it ended up being the perfect temperature for all of us to enjoy zoo. While at the zoo we saw tigers, lions, bears, birds, several farm animals, monkeys, and more...Most of the animals were out and putting on a show for us since the weather was cooler. Adlee LOVED all the animals and even talked to the tiger and he or she answered her back. It was great:) We watched the monkeys for quite awhile as they were playing with a real frog. It was pretty funny watching all the monkeys gather around and play. I just hope the poor little frog escaped unharmed. AND...the zoo had a slide and stairs, so that kept the girls entertained as well.
Here are a few pictures of just a few of the zoo animals...

To end our great weekend, we stopped at Braums for an ice-cream treat. I believe the ice-cream was a treat that everyone enjoyed. The little girls shared their ice-cream and even ate ours too. With our belly's full and tired eyes on all the little girls and adults too...we went our seperate ways. AK was fast asleep before we were out of the city limits and slept the whole way home. This fun-filled weekend was a great get-away for all of us.
A big THANK YOU goes out to Poppy and Boba for making it such a SPECIAL weekend!!!
