Today we created caramel apples. She unwrapped the caramels like a champ!!! She loved the sprinkles and she was very proud of her apples in the end. I made a few apples with choc. chips and pecans. GOODNESS, there should be a law against these things. WOW! So very YUMMY and very HEALTHY, TOO. (Well, the apples are anyways)!!! It was Priceless to watch all her lil' expressions as we completed each step!!! AND...They are so DELICIOUS!!!
Early in the week I made beirox for supper and some to freeze for a later date. Adlee loved playing in the flour and messing with the dough. Once again, another successful day in the kitchen:-)
Coloring really isn't just a FALL thing, but today she was organizing her colors all in a row and named them as she used them. Then, I joined in the fun and we counted on our fingers to ten. She tried so hard to get her fingers to match mine and she is doing great with her counting. Way to go AK, your just TOO SMART!!!

How much fun! Looks like yall are having a great time working in the kitchen together! Adlee is going to be a great cook when she grows up. Isn't it fun to watch your kids learn new things?!?!
What fun activites for Adlee to help with! I know she is learning a lot helping Mommy in the kitchen. I love it when she wants to help me with whatever I am doing in the kitchen, too.
I think it's wonderful that you are so patient and let her help. We know sometimes it is much easier to do it ourselves but then we miss out on that priceless time with them. You are to be commended on that!!
