Happy Easter!!!

What a great day to REJOICE in the Lord. Easter is a very special day and it reminds us each year of the amazing LOVE our Lord has for each of us.

This morning we got all dressed in our Sunday best and headed to church to be with my family. We took up two full rows and the service was SPECTACULAR!!! Then, it was home to my parents house for a feast. The menu included brisket, potato casserole, deviled eggs (a must on Easter), corn, french bread, and a salad. It was all so yummy, I believe the best was saved for last...DESSERT!!! OH, YES...I had two helpings of strawberry shortcake. We also had homemade ice-cream. WOW! What a great meal and I as type this blog entry I am STILL thinking, "WHY did I EAT all of that food?!?!"

The Easter bunny(s) also visited our house last night. Adlee awoke to many new things in her Easter basket: a new swim-suit, new shirts, a DVD, a talking bunny, ABC phonics for the frig, and candy. I believe that 3 different bunnies visited our house and Adlee sends a big "THANK YOU" to all three of them. She must have been a good little girl to receive all of those goodies.

Happy Easter to everyone!!!

I love your new family picture, too!! Adlee looks like a beautiful little dollie sitting there!
She was sooo precious transfering the eggs to the basket as gentle as a 2 year old possibly could. The cracked or dropped ones sure were tempting her to eat them. What a precious little DOLL!!
Love,
