Our WEEKLY update...

Well...I am getting behind on my blogging and it is summer time and A LOT of Fun things are happening. SO...this blog is full of a week's worth of activities and information. WOW! It may be a long post, but well worth your time...I HOPE:)

Look at my sweet lil' FISHY...

Adlee giving Leeper a drink... Adlee and Winston cooling off in the pool!!!
Today we tried water on the trampoline. NOT sure if AK liked it or not, but we did play for awhile!!!

Aren't SUNDAYS suppose to be a day of REST? Well, not for the FELIX family! We were very busy yesterday with, WELL ...
Oh MY! We have taken on quite a project in our house. We decided it was time to do some updating since we have lived here 6 years. So, our first BIG project is replacing all the tile floors in the house. WOW, what a job it was riping up all the old tile. Not only was the tile a pain to get up, it left my house in cloud of dust...and it STILL is...BUT, after a day of HARD LABOR and some TEAMWORK we were able to get all the old tile up and the floors are ready to be tiled. I am so excited to get the new tile down. My sweet Mom and Dad are the ones laying our new floors and I am so thankful for their wellingness to help us out.
IF TIME and our BUDGET allows it...we plan on getting new carpet in the bedrooms, riping up the carpet in the living and redo the hard-wooden floors, and updating both bathrooms with new tile and vanities. (Dent and I are working extremely hard this summer painting houses (inside and out) and more in order to get a few NEW changes in our home...WISH us LUCK as we take on this great feat:)
My new floors will be dark and light slate and accent tiles placed for added touch and style:) We should begin with the new tile this weekend...CANNOT WAIT!!! (pictures will be up as soon as my house is back to normal)
The first TWO photos are pics of the old tile before it was removed...

NOW...these photos are the floors (that look totally gross) that are ready to be tiled...
My sweet HUBBY with all his sweat and dirt:-) Love YOU babe!!!

As we were playing outside Saturday night, our dogs were going crazy with something in the alley. So, Dent went over and noticed that a turtle had gotten stuck by our fence. Adlee and I were close by so AK was able to see her first turtle up close and personal. Adlee did NOT like the turtle at first, but towards the end it was a sweet turtle and all was well. After a few minutes of watching the turtle we let it go on its way to someone else's backyard. AK sure does worry about the turtle, but we assure her that it has a good home:)

One day last week, AK ate 5 pieces of corn-on-the-cob. I do believe it was a personal BEST for her and she LOVED every bit of it AND she didn't waste much either. I laughed out loud as she was eating all of her corn. Once her daddy came home, she ate half (of the ONLY piece remaining) off her daddy's plate. It was such a comical thing and I do believe she had a good portion of veggies for that night:-)

A week of FUN playing with Emmerson, Evynn, and Aunt D at Boba and Poppy's house!!! They came up for a few days to hang out during their summer break. What a great time the girls had just playing and being VERY SILLY!!!
Emme and AK
Adlee and Evynn SPLASHIN' around!!!

Hope everyone's summer is going GREAT!!!
Hope you and your family are having some AMAZING FUN in the SUN!!!

Brandy,
I love all you your new pictures! Adlee is a beautiful little dolly having fun at whatever she is doing!! I loved watching her, Emmerson and Evynn playing together and having a ball!

I'm so excited for all of your tile work. You and Dent did a great job picking out some very beautiful tile!! I know it will look fabulous!! Your parents do a wonderful job at that and always have very creative ideas!!
All of your hard work will pay off and be worth it when it is finished.
Love,
Deb
